Bosnia vs Greece Preview and Prediction
Bosnia-Herzegovina who narrowly missed out on Euro 2016 last summer will host Greece in what might be a crucial encounter to make it to Russia for the World Cup next summer.
Their demolishing 5-0 win against Gibraltar in their last competitive match leaves them in 3rd position in their World Cup qualifying group, just three points off the top spot.
Bosnia has seen seven wins, two draws, and two defeats in their 11 games since that playoff elimination at by Republic of Ireland. Their two defeats came away against Spain and Belgium.
Greece had a horrendous campaign in Euro 2016 qualification, finishing bottom of their group after a dismal two years. They will however draw alot of motivation from holding Belgium to a 1-1 draw away to back in March, and also finding themselves 2nd in their group and just two points behind the leaders.
The visitors have now won three and drawn two of their five qualification matches, Bosnia-Herzegovina will be tough to beat at home though. They are unbeaten on home soil in their last eight games, and seven of those have ended in victory. They also have Edin Dzeko, a potential threat anyday anytime. He has scored in each of his last six home appearances for Bosnia-Herzegovina and has totaled eight goals in these six games.
